Brad Pitt kiinnitettiin uuden War Machine -elokuvan pääosaan
Viimeksi Furyn merkeissä Suomen valkokankailla nähty Brad Pitt jatkaa sotatoimissa ja lyö hynttyyt yhteen Netflixin kanssa.
Videopalvelun omaa tuotantoa oleva War Machine ei nimestään huolimatta ole Marvel-sankarin soololeffa. Sarjakuvien sijaan David Michôdin ohjaama satiirinen komedia pohjautuu Michael Hastingin menestyskirjaan The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan.
War Machine on ohjaajan mukaan ”iso ja rohkea elokuva hullusta sotakoneistosta ja modernista sodankäynnistä”. Sen kuvaukset käynnistyvät elokuussa. Netflixin ohjelmistoon ja valikoituihin jenkkiteattereihin War Machine ehtii vuoden 2016 aikana.
