Kuva: Jason Momoa nähtiin melkein Guardians of the Galaxyssa – Tältä Aquaman-tähden Drax olisi näyttänyt

Ennen kuin Dave Bautista kiinnitettiin Guardians of the Galaxyn Draxiksi, kaavailtiin roolia Game of Thronesilla läpimurtonsa tehneelle Jason Momoalle. 

Loppujen lopuksi Jason Momoa päätyi esittämään Aquamania ja jätti Marvel-leffan väliin. Huhujen mukaan sopimusta Marvel Studiosin kanssa ei syntynyt, koska Momoa halusi liian isoa palkkiota. Näyttelijän omien sanojen mukaan hän hylkäsi Draxin koska rooli muistutti häntä liikaa Stargate: Atlantiksen Ronon Dexiä.

Jason Momoa was almost Drax (before his #aquaman days;)! He also had a great audition that deftly displayed his toughness and double blades handles.
