Sylvester Stallone oli “aivan järkyttynyt” siitä, miten Rockya ja Ivan Dragoa kohdeltiin uudessa Creed-elokuvassa

Rocky-elokuvien aika on ohi, mutta nyrkkeilijämestarin tarina jatkuu Creed-elokuvissa. Nyt hahmon näyttelijä Sylvester Stallone on kuitenkin harmitellut tapaa, jolla Rockya Creed 2:ssa käsiteltiin.

FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention -tapahtumassa vieraillut Dolph Lundgren on kertonut, että alkujaan Creed 2:een suunniteltiin hänen esittämänsä Ivan Dragon ja Rockyn uusintamatsia. Kohtaus kuvattiinkin, mutta se jäi lopulta pois elokuvateatteriversiosta.

”Se oli hauskaa ja kiinnostavaa, koska en ollut pätkinyt Stallonea vuoden 1985 jälkeen, koska Expendables-elokuvissa olemme samalla puolella”, Lundgren kommentoi Comicbook.comin mukaan.

”Jostain syystä kohtaus otettiin pois, en ole nähnyt sitä elokuvassa – kai se on dvd:llä tai jossain muualla saatavissa. Stallone oli todella järkyttynyt sen poistamisesta, hän tosissaan halusi sen mukaan. Mutta kai se sitten rikkoi elokuvan virran tai jotain, joten nyt kävi näin. Ehkä ensi kerralla sitten”.

Creed 2 julkaistiin Suomessa dvd:llä, Blu-raylla ja digikanavissa elokuussa.
