Ruotsalainen ilmastoaktivisti Greta Thunberg tapasi toisen aktivistin, näyttelijä Leonardo DiCaprion.

Näyttelijä Leonardo DiCaprio jakoi instagram-tilillään kuvan itsestään yhdessä ruotsalaisen ilmastoaktivisti Greta Thunbergin kanssa. Itsekin luonnonsuojelun parissa aktiivisesti työskentelevä DiCaprio kehuu Thunbergia ja kutsuu tätä “aikamme johtajaksi”.

“Toivon, että Gretan viesti toimii herätyksenä kaikille maailman johtajille, että toimettomuuden aika on ohi. Gretan ja muiden maailman nuorten aktivistien vuoksi olen optimistinen sen suhteen, mitä tulevaisuus tuo. Minulle oli kunnia viettää aikaa Gretan kanssa. Olemme yhdessä sitoutuneet tukemaan toisiamme ja toivottavasti sen myötä varmistamaan valoisampaa tulevaisuutta planeetallemme”, DiCaprio kirjoittaa.
