Vuoden 2021 Oscar-palkinnot on nyt jaettu – Katso täydellinen lista tämän vuoden voittajista

Vuoden 2021 Oscar-palkinnot jaettiin Hollywoodissa viime yönä.

Elokuva-alan keskeisin tapahtuma eli Oscar-gaala järjestettiin 93:nnen kerran viime yönä. Koronan vuoksi gaala oli hyvin erilainen kuin aiemmin, sillä tapahtumapaikka oli siirretty Dolby-teatterista väliaikaiseen lokaatioon Union Stationille, yleisömäärää oli rajoitettu reippaasti eikä gaalan aikaisia musiikkiesityksiä ollut mukana tällä kertaa lainkaan.

Tästä huolimatta tämän vuoden Oscar-gaala tuntui rentoudensa vuoksi aidommalta kuin aikoihin.

Parhaana ohjaajana palkittiin Nomadlandin Chloé Zhao, joka teki historiaa olemalla ensimmäinen Oscarilla palkittu ei-valkoihoinen naisohjaaja. Nomadland palkittiin myös parhaana elokuvana. Palkinnot jakautuivat elokuville äärimmäisen tasaisesti, minkä vuoksi suuria voittajia ei yön aikana noussut.

Määrällisesti eniten Oscareita keräsi lopulta Nomadland kolmen palkintonsa myötä.
