Muropaketin lukijoiden suosikki voitti The Game Awardsien vuoden pelin palkinnon – Myös suomalaispeli Control niitti kunniaa
The Game Awards -gaalassa jaetaan pelialan kenties arvostetuimpia palkintoja. Tänä vuonna vuoden pelin tittelin nappasi Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, jonka myös Muropaketin lukijat äänestivät vuoden parhaaksi peliksi.
Eilinen äänestys oli Muropaketissa hyvin tasainen ja uutisen julkaisuhetkellä Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice voiti äänestyksen vain yhden prosentin erolla Resident Evil 2:een.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice taisteli voitosta korkealuokkaisessa seurassa, sillä vuoden parhaasta pelistä taistelivat myös muun muassa Death Stranding ja Control. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice palkittiin myös vuoden toimintapelinä.
