Henry Cavill lähti, mutta The Witcher -sarjaan on tulossa toinen nimekäs Hollywood-tähti

The Witcher -sarjan neljäs kausi nähdään vasta vuonna 2025.

The Hollywood Reporter kertoo Netflixin buukanneen Laurence Fisburnen The Witcher -sarjan neljännelle tuotantokaudelle.

Fishburne esittää kirjoista ja peleistä tuttua Regis-hahmoa.

Tulevissa jaksoissa päähenkilö Geraltin roolissa ei enää nähdä Henry Cavillia, vaan hänet korvaa Liam Hemsworth.

Fisburnen ja Hemsworthin lisäksi neljännellä kaudella esiintyvät rooleihinsa palaavat Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan ja Joey Batey.

Kauden virallinen juonikuvaus kertoo alkuperäiskielellä seuraavaa:

“After the shocking, Continent-altering events that close out season three, the new season follows Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri, who are faced with traversing the war-ravaged Continent and its many demons apart from each other. If they can embrace and lead the groups of misfits they find themselves in, they have a chance of surviving the baptism of fire — and finding one another again.”

The Witcher -sarjan neljäs kausi nähdään vuonna 2025. Sen tarkka ensi-ilta ei ole vielä tiedossa.
