Microsoftin uusissa Surface-laitteissa raportoitu ongelmia: näyttö vilkkuu

Useat käyttäjät ovat raportoineet ongelmista Microsoftin uusissa Surface Book- ja Surface Pro 4 -laitteissa. Vaikka laitteille on jo ehditty julkaista ensimmäinen firmware-päivityskin, ovat monet törmänneet ärsyttävään vikaan, jossa näyttö vilkkuu ja tekee käyttämisestä mahdotonta:

”Just got my Surface Book, i7 512GB. Applied all the updates (including the recent firmware). My screen keeps flickering on/off, whether or not the screen is docked. I’ve tried resetting but the issue still persists. It also seems independent of running apps or focused windows. Adjusting the brightness doesn’t resolve the issue..”

Microsoftilla ongelma on jo tiedossa ja se on ilmeisesti korjattavissa ohjelmistopäivityksellä, eikä laitteita tarvitse palauttaa ja vaihtaa. Päivitys on tulossa Windows Updaten kautta, mutta tarkka aikataulu ei ole vielä tiedossa.

Joidenkin käyttäjien mukaan näytön vilkkuminen liittyy Hyper-V-virtualisointiominaisuuteen ja on korjattavissa kotikonstein komentokehotteesta (CMD) kytkemällä se pois käytöstä:
