Warner Bros.:in uusin jättihirviöelokuva Godzilla x Kong myöhästyy, mutta vain kuukaudella aiemmin ilmoitetusta

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire julkaistaan näillä näkymin 12. huhtikuuta 2024.

Warner Bros on siirtänyt Godzilla x Kong: The New Empiren julkaisua noin kuukaudella eteenpäin, uutisoi Coming Soon. Alun perin sen piti saada ensi-iltansa 15. maaliskuuta, mutta julkaisupäivää on nyt muutettu ja näillä näkymin monsterit jytistävät valkokankaille 12. huhtikuuta.

Siirto johtuu siitä, että WB päätti myöhästyttää alun perin tälle syksylle suunniteltua Dyyni: Osa kahden julkaisua maaliskuulle.

Vuoden 2021 Godzilla vs. Kongin (kuvassa) jatko-osana toimivan Godzilla x Kong: The New Empiren ohjaajana toimii Adam Wingard. Sen pääosissa nähdään Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Kaylee Hottle ja Daniel Stevens.

Elokuvan virallinen synopsis kuuluu näin:

“This latest entry follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic adventure, pitting the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence – and our own.
