Vuoden 1999 pelätty Y2K-bugi tulee HBO Maxiin

”Kun vaihtuu vuosituhat / toteutuu kaikki uhat / Lentokoneet törmäilevät / toisiinsa Euroopan ilmatilassa”, puki Ultra Bra ajankuvaa sanoiksi vuoden 1999 Kalifornia-albumillaan. Pian vuosituhannen vaihteen tunnelmiin voi virittäytyä myös HBO Maxissa.

Time Bomb Y2K on HBO Maxissa yksinoikeudella julkaistava uutuusdokumentti, jonka ovat ohjanneet Brian Becker ja Marley McDonald. Time Bomb Y2K kertaa, miten tietokonejärjestelmien uskottiin sekoavan vuoden 1999 vaihtuessa vuodeksi 2000 – tai vuodeksi 1900, kuten jotkut 1990-luvun lopulla uskoivat.

Villeimmissä visioissa ydinohjukset olisivat täyttäneet taivaat ja lentokoneet putoilleet maahan rakettien paukkuessa ja Ultra Bran soidessa taustalla.

Time Bomb Y2K julkaistaan USA:ssa lauantaina 30. joulukuuta. Vielä ei ole tiedossa saapuuko se Suomen HBO Maxiin samana päivänä vai saadaanko elokuvaa vartoa ensi vuoden puolelle.
