Kuva: Josh Brolinin esittämä Cable tapaa luojansa Rob Liefieldin Deadpool 2:sen kuvauksissa

Sarjakuvahahmon isä ylistää näyttelijän roolisuoritusta.

Melkoiseen kuntoon itsensä Cablen roolia varten Deadpool 2 -elokuvassa puntannut Josh Brolin tapasi hahmonsa luojan jatko-osan kuvauksissa, kun sarjakuvantekijä Rob Liefeld ilmestyi paikalle. Deadpoolin ja Cablen isä julkaisi kohtaamisesta nyt kuvan Instagrammissa, jossa hän kehuu Brolinin suoritusta mutanttina.

Liefeldin Cable nähtiin sarjakuvissa ensimmäisen kerran vuonna 1990 ilmestyneessä The New Mutants -lehden numerossa #87.

Deadpool 2 :ssa nähdään pääosaa esittävän Ryan Reynoldsin ja Brolinin lisäksi muun muassa Zazie Beetz, Jack Kesy, Shioli Kutsuna, Julian Dennison, Leslie Uggams, Morena Baccarin, TJ MIller, Brianna Hildebrand ja Stefan Kapicic.

David Leitchin ohjaama elokuva saa ensi-iltansa kesäkuun 1. päivänä vuonna 2018

Yeah, I dare you to try and meet one of your own creations and not get umpteen butterflies in your stomach. I don’t remember anything that was said here besides me thinking “I’m meeting CABLE!! HOW AWESOME IS THIS?!?!” Mr. Josh Brolin could not be more perfect in this role. He is amazing and outstanding and you will no doubt be as giddy as I was when watching him portray Cable.
